It was Oroua Downs school Athletics Day on Friday the 6th November. There were heaps of events like running,high jump,long jump,discuss and shot put.First there were running races then the finals. Then there was high jump we tryed our hardest, then we had to move on to long jump and we were running and jumping as long as we could go.Then we moved on to discus and we had two goes each. The horn blew and we moved on.It was a hot day, we had one more event to go and it was shot put. We had the ball in one hand then we pushed the ball and it went flying out of our hand then the teacher marked our landing. So it was a fun day. By: Amba
