Mr and Mrs Purdie are part of the Search and Rescue team.
They help people who are lost, and if you have a gun, you can shoot 3
times in the air. They might find you if there are searchers are nearby.

Great writing Cody. You remembered lots about Mr Purdies visit. I learnt lots too and if you get lost at least you know people will be looking for you.
